It was working at a grocery store near my house as a bagger. First day went ok and was pretty straightforward in what I had to do (i.e. collecting carts, taking back left behind groceries, bagging obviously, etc). But I get there the second day and my manager comes up and says "I need you to clean up something in the dog and cat food aisle". She walked me over to it. We get there and it is, I kid you not, HUMAN poop on the floor. Someone apparently had an accident and couldn't make it to the bathroom.

I look at her and say straight up "You mean no one else has got this yet?", "No", "Why do I have to do it?", "Because I asked you to". I gave a firm "Hmm" and turned around, told her I quit, and walked out and walked all the way home. Parents were obviously upset at hearing this but oh well. I eventually got a job at a local Dollar General and loved it there.
