Recently I visited a University that for some reason, interested me and I enjoyed the vibe. I have visited many campuses before like UCLA, UC Davis, LMU, UC Santa Barbara, Fresno State, CSU Fullerton and CSU Bakersfield.

But the one I went this friday was different. It might have been that I was with my girlfriend and was having fun with her during the tour, but Fresno State wasn't like that.

I told my girlfriend about how I really want to go to this school as I really enjoyed the experience. It felt different than any other campus I visited. She then told me how this place has a bad reputation for the town it is in. Explained how there are crackheads in the area and such. She told me that she really doesn't want me there. She is fine with any other school.

I was still hesitant because I felt like I would fit in. I then decide to ask my counselor about his opinion in which upsetting my girlfriend as I didn't listen to her. She is now clearly upset and wouldn't even talk to me.

I don't know what was wrong with what I did. I feel like she should have been more supportive. And it is not like I have made my final decision.
