What people say they are going to do vs. what they actually do are often opposite. Yet somehow they think they are doing what they say.

For example, there is a theatre class that puts on a yearly show in my school's opera/theatre department that is allegedly for the purpose of learning and less of a ticket sales event. The director said that the purpose of the class is so that people who aren't as experienced yet would have an opportunity to be cast in a show that is less pressure than the bigger shows that the department puts on. It was supposed to be a stepping stone production, essentially. However, when the cast list came out, it was filled with the names of people who had consistently starred in the bigger productions up until that point.
The thing is that the director still tells everyone how this smaller scale show is such a great opportunity and how the purpose is learning to act and be in a show before getting cast in the bigger productions. I don't understand how this woman can believe the words coming out of her mouth when she has cast it in such a way.
Another general example is religion (I'm opening a can of worms, I know). I was visiting my mom over break and my little sister's vegan friend was over for the evening. My mom wanted to make vegetable soup for dinner but since we didn't have vegetable broth, she was going to use beef broth instead and just not say anything. I just thought that as a Christian who says she's always trying to be the best she can be it was a shady thing to do. At church, they all like to pretend that they are going the extra mile to be a good Christian. If you really are going the extra mile, lying over something like that shouldn't be something you are willing to do.
Stuff like this bothers me. It's like we all have blinders on concerning our own behavior. I am really beginning to think that what people say means nothing. I'm sure a lot of people actually do as they say. But until I know them better, I think I'm going to focus on what they do more than what they say.
Sometimes I hate being a trusting person.

Ah yes, lets take religion! I go to church every Sunday! Why? That is the best place to find women! Because they meet you at church they automatically think you are a nice religious person! That trust makes it so easy to get them in the sack. I go to church and ask God to forgive me for fucking church going women. Oh and some are married too! Be on the lookout for women alone, whose husband is not a church goer! Easy target!
Sometimes after church they serve donuts and coffee and people gather to chat. Perfect place to find a woman to fuck. Just invite them to go out with you and especially if they like a drink, they will give it up for you, sometimes even on the first date!
BTW, my ex wife is a church goer and she is fucking a guy she met at church! LOL

Oh, further, Catholic women and those who attend non-denominational churches are the easiest.
