my friend (who i’m not very close to but have hung out with many times) C was talking in a group chat with about 8 of us, including me and my boyfriend. he made a comment about my bf being the cutest (i agree). and then my bf said “well yeah but have you seen [my name]” and C said “yes i have and i gotta day? you’re cuter” and then a bit later he also said “[my name] you’re cute obviously but [boyfriend] is just the cutest”

safe to say my self esteem took a big ol hit. i feel bad for crying about it because it’s stupid but recently a friend confessed to my bf that they would date him if he was single and all that. just feels like everyone loves him and not me :,-(
