Told a beggar at gas pump to get a job

I was filling up my gas tank after a long day at work. I live in a state with extremely low unemployment (NH), and the quality of life here is pretty good.
Along comes some guy asking people for change. When he got to me I told him no, and to get a job.
The guy at the pump next to me defended the beggar and told me that I didn’t “know his background” and that maybe he was unable to get a job.
I disagreed and said he can get a fucking job, literally everywhere around where we were, is hiring. He was walking and talking just fine (I personally know people missing limbs, with jobs).
Anyhow, I kind of feel like an ass and probably should’ve kept my mouth shut. I don’t know exactly what to think. Maybe the guy at the pump next to me was right? Or maybe in my mind, this scumbag was just gonna buy booze or drugs with everyone elses hard earned money.
How do you guys feel and or react in this type of situation?

Most homeless people are homeless for a reason and generally none of them are good. Mental illness, drug addiction, or just paying for making poor life decisions. It doesn’t matter, I never give them money.

Sometimes, if I have time and I'm in the mood, I offer a homeless woman money in exchange for a handjob or cum in mouth blow job. The rest of the time I just ignore them or lie and tell them I don't carry cash.

Probably was a worthless person but you shouldn't assume it's that easy to get a job when down. You have to have a phone and address to get a job and often when someone hiring hears homeless they are sure to put that aside.
I hope one of them traps you and repeatedly ass rape you and your family

You are an ass. What would our creator want you to do?

I give them money every time. Every dollar is a drink, or crack, or meth... Regardless it puts them all one step closer to their death. Money will spent.
Too dark?
