Telling low wage earners to "just a get a better job/education" is just plain stupid. And thinking they are just lazy and deserve what they get is blatantly ignorant.

I have to get this off my chest:
I really feel for low wage earners who are being shit on by society...
I don't get it. Why people say this. it's usually these hard, soul crushing jobs that are the least paid ones. and society seems to be ok with it. there is this ideology in people that if you're not an executive, entrepreneur or someone extremely talented, or creative, you don't deserve normal life. no, i'm not talking about rich lifestyle, but just some decent standard of living. most peoples earnings in these "not real jobs" are just barely above minimum (or below in some cases) and often times they have to work more than one job and more hours than the standard, just to barely survive for the next day. and society shits on them and thinks they deserve it.
it just pisses me of when people say to someone that it's their fault they work at that job and should get a better one. not everyone can be a coder. not everyone can be an successful enterpreneur. we can't have 90% of population doing those so-called "good" jobs. not everyone is interested in being a fucking CEO, and most definitely not everyone has some unique high level of creativity and entrepreneur characteristics. and yet it seems, only these kind of jobs allow decent standard of living and some kind of fullfillment.
you still need people to deliver your iPhones, your food, you still need people who make your coffee, deliver your packages etc. why don't people who do these jobs deserve respect and adequate pay level?
assholes who say this to "stupid workers" have some kind of superiority complex

OP - you are wrong. You are, no doubt, part of this "class" and are either lazy, stupid, slow, fat, a dullard or lack ambition. People who take the easy path, i.e., menial jobs, do have a place but it is mostly due to the aforementioned attributes that eases this path. How about the countless people who went back to school, took classes in the evening, got a GED, absorbed Internet training, became self-sufficient, scrimped to open a business, joined the service to get an education and learn civility plus leadership - all (and so many more) these things add up to initiative NOT the self-perpetuating morass into which you have fallen. Too bad your horizon is so limited. Go back and watch Forest Gump again (or for the first time) or watch the Special Olympics if you want to see people overcome adversity, hypocrisy or bigotry. It isn't class differentiation, it's you and your inability to appreciate how often effort is too easily dismissed in favor of acquiescence.
