People who mentally abuse their kids or siblings or anyone by telling them their lying when they are clearly not, and not listening before yelling and screaming are fucking horrible
My mom, my sister, my step-dad, and my youngest sister do this to me. I used to lie alot as a small kid cause I didn't know it was wrong, and now they all call me a lier every time without hearing my side of the story.
Like a few days ago I got jumped on my way to work, showed up to work crying and they called 911, got the people who jumped me arrested, and sent me home to rest and calm down. My mother didn't even care. My own mother. She said I was probably 'lying' and they were most likely my school friends and I was just lying to get them arrested. The case still went through however because I still wanted to press charges and the three boys and four girls who had jumped me was arrested for aggravated assault.
My mother wasn't happy and yelled and screamed at me every day when I got home from the trial until I just ended up staying the rest of the trial nights at my bosses house. Him and his wife were much nicer than everyone in my family, understood when I told them something and actually listened, which I was happy with. I also got along with his kids and spent the night for a while longer.
They do this crap every day and their conditioning my youngest sister to say that I'm 'always lying.'
Another story is when I bought my very own Nintendo switch with my own money I had been saving up since it came out. When I got home I gleefully showed it to them and told them how I bought this, but didn't have enough money to buy snacks so this nice old man payed for my snacks.
Immediately without letting me explain my mom yelled at me for talking to strangers and my sister immediately went to 'oh, your definitely lying.'
They fucking accused me of forcing the old man to buy my Nintendo switch (which was 300 dollars) and snacks. Like, what the fuck?
I'm sorry for this rant, I just wanted to get this off my chest.
