People who don't have their dogs leashed when hiking are the scum of the Earth.

I get it. There are moments where it is safer for the dog to be off of the leash. But shame on you for walking your dog in the middle of the forest without one. There is nothing "cute" about your 200 lbs, pony sized dog growling at me and then charging. I don't care if he's "just making friends". I am, quite frankly, terrified. I would also like to have a say in whether my personal space gets invaded or not.
I get it. The trails are small and narrow. I'm not trying to be unreasonable. But please, especially if you don't know how your pet is going to react, keep the dog on a leash.

It goes double if the dog is a male and there is a female dog in heat nearby. You can't separate them and not be at risk of being bitten.
Leashes are a dog owner's best friend.

“Grow a set you demtard pansies”
Just go on down the street boy. I’m sure there’s a homeless guy down there somewhere that needs a hand job.

I find a bullet slows em down some. Also works well on the owner too. Plenty of shallow graves off the trail.

That was after Ozzie & Harriet brought you Hotpoint & the new mouthwash, gas heating & cokes. Then came the angry dog but Ricky was already much older.
