My family (not my parents and siblings, but beyond that) is a shit show. I have always known way too much about my mother’s upbringing. Abuse, abandonment, etc.

So for a while now I have known my grandma was convicted of the murder of her husband (mom’s step dad) but that after the trial she was found not guilty and it remained labeled as a suicide.

My aunt wants to go on Dr. Phil and get a confession from her mother, because she was there and she testified that it happened, and the whole court case turned into a judgement of my aunts character. She was 19 at the time and because of being promiscuous and “lying” about *details* of abuse (the abuse still happened so I think this is dumb), that’s what it turned into.

My mom called me to talk about it just to vent and I read some of the newspaper articles. I’ve heard about the situation before and speculated it l, but after everything I have heard and read...

I believe she did it. I believe my grandmother is a murderer.

I’m also intelligent I’m this realm, I’m literally getting my doctorate in clinical psychology, so this whole thing is weird. Dr. Phil has his Ph.D. but isn’t licensed because he has violated too many ethics codes. Given that I am practicing under supervision of a licensed psychologist, (minus the conflict of interest) my clinical opinion would *legally* mean more than his.

TL:DR- My grandmother is probably a murderer and I believe she is guilty. I’m just trying to process it all.
