My girlfriend just dumped me. She says she wants to date a younger man. I am 45 and she is 30. I have gained weight and all of my clothes are 35 years old. She is finding herself attracted to younger men who wear nicer clothes.
She has a best friend who is a guy. Should I ask him to call her to find out why she dumped me and get him to persuade her to get me back?

The story sounds weird. It seems like you know why she dumped you, or at least some of the reasons.
If you are willing to change, then maybe try to get back together, otherwise just let it be.
