I'm genuinely curious to see how would you guys react to this situation.
I had a great relationship with my father. We talked about anything, his work, his problems, my college, my problems etc. The problem is - he started to openly ignore me when other people are in our presence. He could be telling something, making eye contact with everyone besides me. He talks to me only when we are alone. When he, my mum and I are in the same room he talks as if she's the only person there. It doesn't have to be her, whenever there's another person with us, he does that. That made me question a lot of things. I was always there for him, talking to him, comforting him when needed. Not trying to sound selfish or self centered but sometimes I do think I deserve a better treatment than that. My heart aches because even if I try to talk about it again, he would say he never noticed that and he will continue to do the same.
