OK well he might call 911 AFTER I am dead.

I think the reason he avoids first aid and law enforcement and doctors is that he has lived such a charmed life, such that he's made all the wrong mistakes like he rarely takes out his contact lenses, he has alcoholism, engages in drunk driving, but hes never been sick or caught by the law.

He lives such a charmed life that I think he's leery of law enforcement & doctors because he has avoided them his whole life. Whenever he is in medical need he never addresses it. He never goes to the doctor.

And his brain completely shuts off when his assistance is needed for anything outside of his comfort zone.
