It used to be most important as an aspiring musician to be talented & if you were attractive it was a bonus. Now it's more important to be attractive & actual talent is the bonus.

I grew up in the era of ugly rock stars. But the music was absolutely incredible. Now music is tired and derivative but the performers are virtually all gorgeous. But the music that will last and be remembered will be the real stuff from talented people. Not the fluffy face -music.

What will be remembered is the good music and the popular music, both. The good looking musicians make popular music, so I believe that their music will be remembered also.
