Is it fair or unfair if a client / customer is an asshole to me on purpose because he thinks I work there an have to take it / can't fight back and I fuck with him or eject him from my business because I own it?

I'm 30, my family owns the business and my parents are retired and I manage the place. I'm 30 but people often think I'm five if not ten years younger.
Very rarely, but it happens, I have a customer who comes into my business and he will be a complete asshole. Yelling, threatening, bullying, being obnoxious, aggressive etc. Stuff that I can almost guarantee he wouldnt do to me if I were on my free time and a random member of the public or if he knew I owned the business and or had the power to tell him no and eject him.
I've had instances where I stood up to an asshole and they acted like it wasn't my place or I wasn't allowed to or they've said they are going to talk to my boss about me. I had one guy like laugh at me and say but"what are you like the manager or something?" I've had a few say "you just work here" / "I can get you fired" / "I can make your life miserable" When i explain to them what my position is in the company they nearly always get a deer in headlights work, apologize, and look scared. Backpeadling, apologizing, trying to make excuses ensues.

I never did put up with bs in my little retail shops. Complete, nasty asshats always seemed stunned when I'd throw attitude back or kick them out. I couldn't believe what people thought they could get away with. I ended up burned out and moved on to other more creative ventures. Unfortunately, if you are reasonably competent, you are likely above average and 85% of general public will seem frustratingly stupid.
