I’m worried I may have gotten a Koodo employee fired
Koodo is a Canadian phone service provider for those of you who aren’t familiar. Anyways, I went to trade in my old phone yesterday and the girl who helped me was very kind and patient with me the whole time. I had brought in a promo code that would allow me to get $10 off my bill for a year and I asked her if she would apply it to my file but she told me to call Koodo customer service and request through them. She also mentioned that since I’ve been a loyal customer for a while, I could probably get the $35.00 activation fee waived. I called into Koodo customer service and the lady apologized and told me the agent misinformed me and would file a ticket against her. I told her a ticket isn’t necessary but she was adamant on filing it and told me not to worry. Anyways, if the ticket goes back to the employee, she will probably know it was me who caused the ticket to be made. I feel bad and hope I didn’t just cost someone their job but at the same time; the employee did tell me these things.
