I’m scared to grow up and die. I don’t know what to do. I don’t know how to get over my fear. I don’t want to leave behind my loved ones. I’m only a teenager and yet I feel that the time flies by so fast. I can’t accept death as part of life

Yes time flies. Make the best of these times. Staying in shape is cool, but you still have to talk to people to meet someone.I'm not gay but, this guy had really nice abs, I was like,"Hey, how do you make those/" He said," Hook your feet in the machine and lean back to the floor on the bench." I understood. He's like," AND you need lots of protein." I was like,"Yeah" You like protein right? I said YEAH.The more the better. I never tasted him.Probably could've though. Point being, you never know what the future holds, go for it.

It doesn't matter whether or not you ACCEPT it. It's going to happen. To all of us.

You are going through an existential crisis. We all go through this so you are not alone. Facing your own mortality and realising the cold hard truth can be depressing but try to fill your life with purpose and ignore it because it’s absolutely serves no purpose to keep thinking about it. Go and explore some faiths and beliefs to help even. But thinking about it will only stop you achieving things in life. As you get older you’ll accept it as part of life. It used to freak me out to and it still does to a degree but I’ve just accepted that it will come one day and it’s nothing to fear since everyone and everything goes through it. Also planning to have your own children helps as it means a part of you continues to survive after your death.

This guy must think there's a lot to be gained from sitting around worrying about shit you can't change.

It gets easier when you get older. What is our biggest fear in death? Not being remembered. They say within 3-5 generations no one will remember 99.9 % of us. And that's okay. We get these amazing lives where we know of death. But our time is long compared to the housefly or the pet cat. We are lucky to have a small time here.
We may fear a painful death. But we don't know how we will go. As you get older and leave your legacy, you feel more comfortable leaving it behind. Your fear becomes leaving your young children behind, not so much death.
Some find comfort in religion. Some find comfort leaving the world a better place than they found it.
Find your joy and comfort and remember tomorrow is never promised to any of us. It's okay to be the 99.9 %.
