For context, I'm a minor in highschool. My mother is currently dating her best friend from highschool after my father passed away 2-3 years ago. We're paying rent to live in a house in which my grandmother is the landlord. My mother and I get 2,000$ a month from disability however all of that goes to rent, bills, and groceries which end up getting used in almost a week. The house is falling apart and our landlord refuses to fix it while the hallway ceiling is collapsing in on itself, she hires her friends as plumbers which has caused flooding resulting in replacement of carpet. We desperately want to move out, however my mothers girlfriend wants to move in with us. This wouldn't cause issues if we didn't have the money to buy a house and most rent homes/apartments had a 2 pet limit. See, my mother and I have 4 cats and a Shiba who we're planning to breed and my mothers girlfriend has two Chihuahuas. I planned on keeping a cat and my Shiba when I moved out, however that cat has passed away and Im not nearly old enough to move out. Our conditions are awful, we have a roach problem were trying to fix. Since our Shiba will have puppies, I'll have to move out with the puppies. I don't know why I'm so overwhelmed, but I can't help it and I'm scared for my future and mental health.
