I mean don’t get me wrong.. I want to help her. I want her to succeed. I don’t do this for money; I do it because I love it. But why do I feel so resentful towards this situation when I know she doesn’t make any money yet...

You should charge her, but give her a decent discount.
It will prove your value, help your self esteem, and not let you be taken advantage of your skills.
You earned it. You sederve it.
She is no friend if she is willing to take advantage of you.
