So I just graduated from yesterday and decided to celebrate by going out. My boyfriend (and only friend, yeah I’ve been at school for nearly five years and haven’t made a single friend) had to work early and hates going out so I was left to go alone. I went, because I love dancing but never really get to go. I got in the club and it was good until I tried to get my first drink, I wanna was passed over half a dozen times at the bar. The bartenders kept taking other peoples orders despite me trying to get their attention. That hurt a bit, but things got worse as I tried to dance. I struggle to even get on the floor, and constantly stepped on and smacked like I’m not even there, and eventually I’m pushed completely off the floor despite my best effort to stay where I am. Again I’m ignored at the bar and basically push off my seat at a table and now I’m crying in the club bathroom. I’ve tried over a dozen times to go to the club alone and each time I leave sad and dejected because I’m ignored constantly. I tried to be friendly, compliment people, dance like I don’t care, get drunk, but nothing works. Ive never been hit on or talk to by strangers (I don’t get girls who complain about getting hit on or bothered all the time cus it has never happened to me). I’ve spent five years trying to make friends and I’m done with school and my only real friend is my high school boyfriend I live with. I’m sad and miserable and (since I have no friends) I needed someone to tell. I hope everyone’s day is better than mine. Thanks for reading, if you do that is.
