I have to agree with the post about fucking and getting knocked up by guys with no money, then they take off. I've helped many, mostly younger, women in the same situation, want to do better, trying, but living on the edge, no support for the kids they had with DJ Loser or Drunk Disabled guy, and the women are always looking to give it up for financial help. I've taken advantage a few times, but, with one or two, knew them before and we had a connection or something going. You need to buckle down and do this, b/c eventually, the men will dry up and stop giving money for sex, which only keeps you broke. Start going to class, clean your place, and put decent food on the table for your kid. In short, grow the hell up.

Here's what you do. Find a good man but still expect him to want better than you gave your ex. Tell him if he's good to you, you'll be polygynous with him plus treat him great with whatever time you have available. And you find him the other you-approved girlfriend too. You need a white knight, so treat him better than any other woman would. Then watch him exercise, pay for everything, and really try because he's getting something damn special. I’m 53, never married, decent house paid for. You can quit your job and go the school full time and live here for free. Get your degree, get your job and we’ll talk about if you want to stay longer or not. I work a lot of overtime so I’m usually only off two or three days a month and work a lot of double shifts. I never married because I was focused on owning a house, living debt free and retiring when I was 64 or 65. I haven’t owed any debt in over ten years. If you’re a good cook and keep a clean house, I keep a very clean house myself but that’s because it’s just me so if you can do the same maybe we can work something out. Sec would be entirely up to you. I have a woman now but we just hook up for sex at her place, nothing more.
