I work in a call centre and at the end of the call I ask them if there's anything else I can help with and when they say 'Yeah if you have the winning lottery numbers' I've started saying 'Even if I did I wouldn't give them to you'

Your surveys are going to suffer, meaning your numbers will go down.
Better would be to say you'd give them if you had them but you also might try "I was hoping you had them: which will build rapport better as the caller is just expressing appreciation which you are causing them to possibly discard by your present response,
