I only ever made around 800 to 900 dollars off of reselling the items. I did this from when I was 14 to 16. I only did it to buy new clothes for me because we weren't too well off at the time. I have 2 younger sisters and 1 younger brother (they're triplets and they were around 7 or 8 at the time) and I would just give them my clothes because theirs would be all torn up. Even though I was 14 to 16 and they were 7 or 8. My clothes fit them perfectly besides being about 5 or 6 inches too long in length for both sleeves and pants because I was very short. They weren't even old clothes of mine either, they could be perfectly fine clothes that still fit me and that I could have worn for myself but I gave them to my younger siblings.

Even though I made around 900 dollars by reselling items I stole, there were a few things I kept (I always stole snacks for whenever we ran out of food while our mom was away on a job trip, or for school). I mainly stole small toys from toy shops that were easy to hide away in my pockets or bag. I would take one of my little sisters or my little brother with me. I would then buy 3 or 4 toys, then we would leave while I had at least 10 stolen toys in my bag or pockets which I would sell later at school.

Nobody suspected me I don't think, because i looked way younger than I was. I looked around 11 or 12 despite being 15 or so. It just looked like I was a 12 year old boy buying a toy for my 7 or 8 year old sibling.

I would do this about 2 or 3 times at one toy store, then would do it about 2 or 3 times at a different store another week whenever I needed some money, so nobody could really catch on i guess.

I would resell the toys at school and I never got caught and would never do it again if I didn't have to. But it feels good to get this off my chest, even anonymously. Even though it was only about 6900 dollars split between multiple toy stores within the span of 2 years (I only did it when I needed the money, I didn't do it all the time), I still felt guilty about it.
