I totaled my car really bad Friday night and walked away with just scrapes and bruises. Nobody else was involved, thank goodness. I'm going to get a DUI and could use some advice.

You blew it big time. Car insurance through the roof for many years and a DUI on your record.

My advice is to take the pain and the butter medicine . Use this experience as a learning tool. Quit being an idiot.

If you have no prior DUI's it will be a little better and cheaper. But it is going to cost you a lot of money. And, if you can even get insurance, it will be "high risk." And very expensive. But you are psycially OK. And you didn't hurt or kill anyone. So you have a lot to be thankful for.
