I think the US should get rid of political parties and votes should be based on whether or not you agree with the policy or the individual, not party loyalty.

“My party, right or wrong” is just stupid. We don’t need to have political parties. They may help to generalize and organize ideas for the general population, but I think it’s gone too far. Too many of us don’t even listen to the issue any more, just which side our party is for. It’s dumbed down. We don’t need to have them.

Amen, there is no difference between Democrats and Republicans, we really only have one party. They just use social issues, which are not the governments concerns, to keep people divided.
