I strongly believe that nothing happened after death. That makes me realize why people would believe in absurd things happen because thinking nothing happens is really depressing when someone/something dies that you love.

You could not be more wrong. Grow up and start doing grown up research. Do not listen to these anti God demons putting that poison in your brain.

REasoning is betterbthan beleif. After death you will return to the Universal Soul from which you came. Duality is the cause of all suffering. After death you will be part of the Unity

Or maybe something does happen after death and you don't have the conceptual tools be grasp it. People have always been obsessed with trying to explain everything in terms of strictly what they know. 18th century scientists didn't believe meteorites existed. Stones that fall from the sky? Preposterous! How did they get up there? Triumphant smirk. It couldn't be that their understanding of Earth's place in the cosmos was incomplete and inaccurate; they assumed they knew the answer, and just look silly today because of their hubris. Likewise, The Scientific American, a very respected publication, refused to believe the Wright Brothers had flown for 5 years despite affidavits from highly respected people to the contrary. Finally in 1908, they were forced to relent, and admit they were wrong. They don't like to admit it, but the Scientific American is still wiping egg off its face over that one. Keep an open mind. The "obvious" isn't always true.

First line should read "the conceptual tools TO grasp it."
