I will choose airlines which have Airbus only fleets, or an airline where there's a 98% chance I will be flying on an Airbus. I have always hated Boeing planes and Boeing is infamous for their planes crashing due to design flaws, for example the 737 rudder hard over crashes, thrust reversers deploying mid flight, engine pylons ripping off the wing, 747 cargo door failures and now a new 737 that has software that makes the plane crash itself if just a single sensor ever fails in flight.

I cannot recall an Airbus crashing solely due to a design flaw. All the crashes I've read about are from pilot error. No engines ripping off the plane, software causing the plane to go from cruise to crash, engines reversing in flight or the rudder becoming stuck causing the plane to crash etc.


Also, Boeing planes look really old fashioned where Airbus goes for a more high tech aesthetic which I like more. Also their designs are new and not rehashed 1950's-1960's crap.
