I get that with my group of friends at the sports bar. They see me as the head or leader of sorts, and all try to talk to me at the same time. It's difficult enough trying to give each person equal time, but, if I'm trying to talk to a woman, they butt right in because, well, she's getting the attention from me that they should be. I've gone outside with women who smoke before even though I don't smoke, just to get away from the group. It's draining.
