I loath it when people say, “We all make mistakes”. Spilling milk is a mistake; tripping up is a mistake; making a mathematical error is a mistake, etc. People mostly apply this saying to wilful/immoral choices. Choices are choices; not mistakes.

Your post sounds a bit judgy to me and hey, speak your mind...but I offer that we are all human, and some humans are not given a strong moral upbringing, and while choices do factor into it...and people are usually happier when they are living by a "higher bar" kind of code...(mostly because they avoid such drama and pain...and, if they are spiritual in nature, there is just more harmony, and if they are religious, then they are living in line with their beliefs. THAT SAID...perhaps a better approach would be to gently encourage people to make better choices, when you are given the opportunity to see or hear someone "making a mistake." Some choices are mistakes...but people can learn and change. Bystanders can either help people improve their lives or point a finger of judgement and pass on gossip. We all have choices to make.

As far as I know your. It God so your not qualified to decide anything for anyone other then yourself. For until you have journeyed in someone else’s shoes you can’t know why that are the way they are. So do everyone a favor and mind your own business for others problems are not yours or yours to judge.

A choice you make can be a mistake as well and while some mistakes are worse than others it more comes down to being human and no ones perfect

Also, committing murder is nearly always a choice, not a mistake. ("Nearly always" because sometimes people who murder others are forced to do so under pain of death or torture.)

Murder is the unlawful killing of a person. Self defense is not murder.

That's because so called morality is not universal. What's moral to you might not be to another.
