Okay so my roommate is a walking OSHA violation. In his part of the pantry he keeps cleaning bleach and bug sprays next to all his groceries, he lets meat sit out on the counter for an entire day (or longer) before cooking it, he eats around the moldy parts of bread he’s had for a while, the list could go on.

Given that he is pretty inconsiderate to his own health means it’s no surprise he is inconsiderate to all the other people living in this apartment. When he first moved in I tried to help him keep things properly stored and let him know he was on track to giving himself food poisoning but it’s gotten to the point that I would actually get some enjoyment from him facing some kind of consequences for his actions.

Before writing this post he literally started cooking a pack of chicken thighs he has had sitting out since yesterday night. So my fingers are crossed he has salmonella tomorrow.
