I have stolen and shoplifted items from stores, businesses and people's homes for over 15 years, and have never once been caught. 0 guilt.
I guess I'm a kleptomaniac, although truth be told- I've never cared enough to even Google what the legitimate symptoms would be. I have done a fair amount of research on anti-shoplifting measures that businesses take, just to try and give myself an edge. I have also watched A LOT of videos on sleight of hand tricks. I watch them like most people watch their favorite bloggers, sometimes consuming as much as 3 or 4 hours a day on looking and watching for new tricks.I feel fairly confidant that I could run a con game using cards and dice and probably never get caught- but the idea just doesn't interest me.
It started when I was about 13, stealing books from a chain bookstore, usually by just tucking them into the back of my jeans and walking out. These days though, I steal from all kinds of stores, and steal anything that I can fit into my pockets or up my sleeves. Chapstick, packs of bologna, sharpie markers, tape, kids hot wheels cars, play-dough,gum, cheap watches, necklaces- I have a box at home that probably has a several hundred dollars worth of stolen merchandise at home that I don't even need or would never use. I've never been caught, not even close. I've been doing it for so long that the thrill is finally starting to wear thin. I'm giving serious thought to moving up to pick pocketing. Rich people are offensive to me, I think they should share some of that money with me, whether they want to or not.
