I hate babies/toddlers at restaurants, and YES, I am a parent.
At what age does it become inappropriate to just randomly sit and scream in a restaurant and not get thrown out?
I think if a 6 or 7 year old did such a thing the family might be asked to do something about it, or leave. Most certainly if an adult behaved this way the police would probably be called. But no, we as a society just let it happen because "they're just a baby". *Fuck that!*
I was having breakfast with my mom this morning and at the next table over this toddler was constantly hollering so loudly that I could barely *hear* my mom speaking to me from across our table. It literally made my ears hurt. And this kid's mother did next to nothing about it.
When my son was that age and he did that, I'd put my hand over his mouth immediately to make him stop, or take him to the restroom or outside. It's fucking infuriating to see parents be so inconsiderate to others around them! *Do they not have any manners?!* I wanted to get up, walk over, and just start hollering right into the mother's ear like a raving lunatic. I couldn't wait to finish my food and get out of there to get away from these goddamn people.
