My boss was a fuck up, lazy and clearly had no idea what he was doing. He had only been on the job for a year and bled the company dry with his "projects" that went no where. He was one of those executives who wanted his staff to do his job for him while he kicked back and chilled, but didn't want to pay them what they were worth to him. He was terrible at his job and towards the end, I simply tuned him out and started to go through his boss. His boss was on the fence about keeping him and asked me discreetly what I thought. I told him pointblank that this guy was fucking with our jobs with the amount of money he's wasting and he's basically getting paid to do nothing. The thought of losing his job was the straw that broke the camel's back and my boss's boss fired him. I told him he made the right choice and he did. I didn't give a fuck if it was my boss who gave me a job that I needed because had he stayed, he would have destroyed the business and left us ALL without a job.
