I’ve only been in this job for 2 months but some unexpected monetary situations have come up that require immediate attention. I work full time, I travel to different places every day, I lug heavy equipment, deal with thankless adults, and capture the attention and images of children aged 6 weeks to 6 years old. It’s extremely rough and I’m also a full time grad student. For all of this I get paid $11/hr. The equipment is tearing up the interior of my car (pipes and wires exposed) which I’m not getting paid nearly enough to fix. I’m looking at other, better paying jobs right now but I just don’t know if it’s worth quitting now or not. I’m absolutely miserable and they’re not paying me nearly enough to sustain my family or myself for that matter. I know I should wait until I have another job to quit this one but I just don’t know how much more I can take.
