It’s so so frustrating that it seems like my parents had me for the sole purpose of grandchildren. I’ve never wanted kids, I just don’t want any. At all, I never have and I never will. I’m not even going to explain why I don’t, because it doesn’t matter why.

But my family can’t stop shitting on me for choosing to not have children. Apparently it’s a disgrace and it’s utterly selfish because I’m choosing not to sacrifice my life for imaginary children.

Just makes me feel like shit. It’s my life and I will do great things in life outside of producing babies. I will be selfless in other ways. I also can’t help but think that if I was a man, this same pressure wouldn’t be on me. I didn’t choose life, I’m working with what I got and it’s my choice in what I want to do with it.
