I am a Sophomore at Valencia High School (a school about a mile from Saugus High School) and this happened during our lockdown because of the school shooting at saugus

We were barracaded into the classroom with desks blocking the door, all of us were crouched down and this girl I didnt even know was holding onto me and crying into my shoulder.
She kept repeating "I want to leave this place" , "I don't want to die" over and over. She was holding on for dear life. I've never seen or heard someone my age (I'm 16) so full of fear. I held her untill the lockdown was lifted. My shirt was soaked from the tears. I can't get it off my mind.

Follow up with her and ask if she wants more comfort. Offer this in any form she wants--I'm not saying to make a romance out of this necessarily, but you could also help, since she's clearly been traumatized by this.

Just change the legal age to 21 to purchase a gun.by the time they're old enough to buy a gun they will have gotten over all the rotten shit the other kids did to them in school and all of their enemies in life will be scattered all around the country instead of gathered up in one spot like fish in a barrel.
