When I was younger I was home alone pretty often, or my mother would be working and father would be sleeping or vice versa. I would get bored and grab our land line phone and dial random 1 800 numbers. I would talk to people from companies who would be confused as to why a little kid was calling them. I probably did this from like 6 to 8 years old. One day I was home sick from school and I started to dial random house phone numbers and threatened to rob people on their answering machine. I have no idea why I did this. My mom came home later that day and received a phone call from the police telling them what I did. She asked me if I did it, and of course I denied. I'm sure she knew I was lying but I don't think I got in trouble. I'm pretty sure I stopped messing around with the phone after that. I'm not ashamed of it, it's kinda funny looking back on it now.
