It’s unfortunate neither of these two amazing aircraft are in service. In 2003 they were both flying. Given the opportunity, which one would you strap your ass in?

Not all the Blackbirds were de commissioned . Some of the jigs were saved. Some latter models were built on the F12A jigs. They were Armed with Aim 47 Falcons The tail had the totenkopf. Yes look it up.

As cool as they were, their function is now accomplished better with satellite imaging. But, they were really, really cool for their time.
