Cherish the ones you have.

To preface, I've never been the popular kid, nor did I plan to, but back in school I had quite a few acquaintances, a few friends, and 3 best friends. Now, only just a year after I left school I have only 1 best friend and one close friend, with only one or two acquaintances that keep in touch every once in a while. Almost everyone has gone different paths; some went to Uni, some started work, and others just have holidays like there's no tomorrow — but I've stayed to work.
But I'm now stuck thinking: *“How long until they (my remaining friends) move away?”, “How long until they get a job and are too busy to chat?”, “How long until this friendship slowly fades?”.* Losing a friend now is pretty scary, but I just have a feeling that it will happen and there is nothing I can do about it.
I know this is first world problems and things, but it's something that I've thought for quite a bit of time. I really care about the ones that stuck with me, but that's what makes this thought evermore terrifying.
I don't want to lose them.

HAHAHAHA you are retarded.
As you get older you'll realize that "friendship" is a LIE. It is not real. None of your "friends" will care about you in 10 years.
