This is the 4th time I have been stuck at the emergency for more than 10 hours with no care other than taking my temperature and blood pressure and pain killers.

No system to call you back when a doctor who specializes on your ailment finally arrives, so the only thing they do is to just keep you there while you risk catching a new infectious disease.


I am not even shocked to see struggling people at the emergency on a very long wait list sleeping on benches that are deliberately made to be uncomfortable for anyone to sleep on.

Finding a private doctor is virtually impossible.
I know people who have left Canada to other third world countries just to get a quicker check up and years after their recovery they get a random being asked if they still want a doctor.

I am appalled, disappointed to even contribute taxes to this sad situation.
