Biden and the democrats flooded the economy with trillions of dollars, paid people not to work, then killed the supply chain with vaccine mandates, over regulation, starting and supporting a war, and destroying the energy and transportation industry, which created high demand and low supply, which created record inflation. Everything the OP listed was caused by Biden and the democrats.

“Actually, everything you listed is caused by the Federal Reserve's policies, which have NOTHING to do with the president.

The Comptroller of the Currency oversees the banks: the president does NOT.
The Federal Open Market Committee of the Federal Reserve controls inflation by controlling interest rates: the president has NOTHING to do with either interest OR inflation.
The market and prices are controlled by CONSUMERS (read: YOU), security exchanges, and the Federal Reserve.

    You people really are stupid.

The president's powers are: Power to grant Reprieves and Pardons for Offences against the United States; Power, by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, to make Treaties, and to appoint Ambassadors, other public Ministers and Consuls, Judges of the supreme Court, and other Officers of the United States; and Power to fill up all Vacancies that may happen during the Recess of the Senate.

And his duties are to: give to the Congress Information of the State of the Union and to RECOMMEND measures; receive Ambassadors and other public Ministers; and execute laws.

The president REALLY does NOT have much ACTUAL power. It really is astounding that you morons express such open reverence for the United States Constitution, yet you have NO IDEA what it ACTUALLY says! I mean, really, the "president" is REALLY just the winner of some divisive popularity pageant....the people with REAL power would NEVER give such a buffoon much ACTUAL power.

The president is basically just a public face so brainwashed idiots like you have a face to sling your shit at so the REAL Men of Power can do their jobs out of YOUR ignorant line-of-sight. He's just a shit target so all you retarded monkeys never throw your shit at the ACTUAL people pulling the strings. It's really quite effective, and pretty amazing how well it works. You NEVER blame the correct people, because you're all too stupid to READ the laws that grant power, so you have NO IDEA WHO has WHAT power. You blame the president for everything because his face is the one you see most on your idiot boxes, and because YOU ARE WILLFULLY STUPID.

And the regularly scheduled popularity pageants keep your stupid attention occupied...but little do you know YOU do NOT "vote" for the Comptroller of the Currency, the Secretary of the Treasury, the Treasurer, the Board of Governors of the Fed, the Presidents of Fed Banks, or ANY of the ACTUAL Men of Power who ACTUALLY control your contrived "economy". You "vote" for the puppets you wish to see smeared in shit for a few years.

    You idiots really are retarded.

Idiots. Just idiots. You Amerikkkins are just stupid STUPID and illiterate people. ”

The President and the Congress have EVERYTHING to do with interest AND inflation.

President Biden’s economic strategy led to a historic recovery with tangible benefits for workers and families. Since President Biden took office, the economy has created more than 12 million jobs—including more than 800,000 manufacturing jobs—and the unemployment rate is at a 54-year low, including near record lows for Black workers. The unemployment rate for Hispanic workers hit a record low last year. The past two years were also the best two years for new small business applications on record. None of this progress was pre-ordained. Before President Biden signed his Rescue Plan into law, experts predicted it would take far longer to create this many jobs. And few—if any—experts predicted it would be possible to get the unemployment rate down to a level last seen in 1969. In fact, before the Rescue Plan passed, the Congressional Budget Office projected the unemployment rate in the first quarter of 2023 would be 4.8%, rather than its current level of 3.4%.

More breathing room and economic security for families. This historic jobs recovery, along with Biden-Harris Administration policies designed to help workers and families, has left families more economically secure than before the pandemic. Compared to pre-pandemic levels, households are now less likely to be delinquent on their credit card bills and mortgages, and more likely to have health insurance. They are facing fewer evictions and foreclosures than there were before the pandemic, and bankruptcy rates are lower as well. This economic security is giving families peace of mind and breathing room that they didn’t have before the pandemic. Child poverty also fell to a historic low in 2021, and the President will call on Congress to continue these gains through the expanded Child Tax Credit, even as he has taken action to lift nearly 1 million children out of poverty by modernizing nutrition benefits.

“The President and the Congress have EVERYTHING to do with interest AND inflation.”

    They do? How?

Somehow I'm always surprised by the complete lack of knowledge of the average Republican today. Fiscal policy, is by design, to be outside the President's purview. While a president might indirectly attempt to influence the Fed's interest rate decisions, all he can do is suggest. And in fact, it's historically pretty frowned upon to suggest too strongly. Republicans seen to think that the president is a king, and a lot of them want that to be the case because they aren't big fans of democracy, but America employs separation of powers.

Spending can cause inflation, and to be sure, all the stimulus money (handed out under both Trump and Biden) has had a hand in increasing our inflation, but by pretty much every estimate, it's only increased our inflation by 1-2% . But before you jump all over that, though that outcome isn't great, the flip side is that the stimulus money not only kept a lot of people out of the gutter, of the countries which did turn on the money firehose during Covid, they all experienced a stronger and faster recovery than those who did not send out checks. Almost all economists will tell you that paying he price of 1-2% inflation in order to get a faster and stronger recovery is a bargain.

High inflation, which idiots try to blame on a president, willfully misunderstand what inflation is and what's causing it. They happily ignore the fact that pretty much every modern nation is experiencing virtually the same inflation rates as America. And of the ones who have slightly lower rates, they generally got there by having a Fed that started raising rates much earlier than we did (Trump heavily pressured the Fed to not raise rates), and the employ methods such as windfall taxes that Conservatives would consider socialist.

Many Republican politicians today blame Biden for our high inflation, but when asked how he did that, they cannot say. And now that they hold congress and have the power of the purse, they remain silent about how they could reduce inflation. Basically, they are all empty talk, and they rely on the gullibility of their electorate to not notice that they have nothing of substance to offer, just finger pointing and endless distraction and drama.

How is Biden to blame for our high inflation? His unrelenting attacks on America's energy industry pushed the price of energy sky high, which pushes the price of everything sky high. He and the Democrat control of Congress passed unnecessary trillions of dollars in spending, flooding the economy with cash, thereby driving up prices. He and the Democratic Party attacked the transportation industry with unnecessary vaccine mandates which led to early retirements and people quitting, since they could get paid by Biden not to work. With transportation down, that caused supply chain problems, driving up prices. When "pretty much every modern nation is experiencing" inflation, America does not have to because we have cheap and available energy. America is exceptional. You cannot compare America to "every other nation."
Silent on how to reduce inflation? Stop printing money, stop adding regulations that kill growth, and drill baby drill.

When the executive and legislative branch are held by the democrats, there is no separation of powers. They march in lock-step. Since democrats hate American democracy, they opened the borders, bankrupted the treasury, got us involved in another war, and have allowed criminals to control the border and the nation's streets. Biden thinks he's a king. A majority of Americans do not support his policies, but he and his party do not care.

So then, instead of answering the question, you deflect. Shocker! No Republican is able to draw a direct line between Biden and inflation not only because that's pretty much impossible, but because your knowledge of finance and economics is infantile at best.

If by marching in lock-step you mean not being the clusterfuck of disfunction that is the Republican party, yes, I agree. The Dems are actually able to get historical legislation done whereas the Republicans can barely even elect a speaker. The are an absolute shit-show of chaos and drama with no solid policies or even principles, so yes, the Dems do stand apart from that.

I find it particularly interesting that you think that the Dems hate democracy when the Republicans are the party which tried to overthrow it and continue to support a man who continues to try to do that and has even recently recommended suspending the Constitution so that he can be installed as leader. The Republicans try to limit voting, they're the ones who seem to love every strongman dictator that comes down the line, and many (probably even you) were demonstrating a complete lack of civic knowledge by fervently arguing that America isn't really a democracy, it's a Republic (and argument used to justify several very undemocratic actions). The Republican party has realized that the majority of people in this country do not support their policies, have not for years, and can never hope to get anything even close to a majority of the popular vote (only doing it once since the 80's), so they have basically abandoned democracy because it does not work in their favor.

WTF does the Republican party know about reality? Your whole world is a funhouse mirror. You run screaming into the night when put face to face with facts. Your whole media empire defends itself in court as an entertainment that "no reasonable adult" would take seriously. New filings reveal that they know that they are lying to you and do so because they know that their audience (you) are so pathetically self-deceived that if they dare tell you the truth, you run to another "news" source which will tell you what you want to hear, no matter how ludicrous.

Btw, the Dem policies are actually paid for. Biden has actually brought down the deficit. It was Trump and the Republicans that you're thinking of who paid for everything with borrowed money. That's how the national debt went up by 25% under Trump. Biden's policies are investments in the future and have all been budgeted out. The Dems are rebuilding our infrastructure, investing in renewable energy, and making America safer (even according to Trump's hand picked secretary of defense) through a number of policies, including the Chips bill - and all of this is bringing well paying jobs, usually to the regions of this country which have been left behind. Christ, now that plants are bing announced and shovels are starting to hit the ground, Republicans are showing up at the photo-ops trying to take credit for things that they actually voted against. Republcans can never actually get shit done, but they are happy as hell to take credit when others do.

“So then, instead of answering the question, you deflect.

The Dems are not rebuilding anything.
If renewable energy is so wonderful, why is the taxpayer being forced to "invest" in it?
Dems have made America more dangerous, according to the FBI statistics.
The Chips bill has not brought a single job to regions of the country that have been left behind by Dems.
Plants are being announced and shovels are starting to hit the ground overwhelmingly in Republican areas.
Biden has raised the debt more in two years than Trump did in four years, and most of Trump's spending was because of Fauci's chinavirus.

The democrat president did the democrat majority congress' bidding. That's what's gotten us into the financial ruin we're currently in right now.

The direct line between Biden and inflation is unnecessary massive deficit spending, and attacking the American energy industry. It's so simple, even a moron like you should be able to understand it.

You're such a self deceived fool. You just make assertions and assume that they are true, or even make sense. Republicans have lost all sense of reason.

In many threads that you've been on, when you make the assertion that nothing is being rebuilt and no jobs have been created, people have posted links that you could have easily looked up yourself demonstrating that this is untrue, one such project with the Republican Senate leader happily standing with Biden in his left behind state of KY where Biden's infrastructure bill is already making a difference.

Also as pointed out to you previously, the Chips bill will take MANY years before it produces fruit because it takes MANY years to create such plant and billions of dollars of investment. Chips plats are literally the most complex facilities that humans can create. They take massive planning and extreme precision. How are you an adult and still do not know that not everything happens instantly with the wave of a wand?

Governments invest in things that are a social good but which need an initial massive investment to get off the ground. I know that you're a fan of fossil fuels, well, the government put enormous investment in those to get them off the ground. Same for the auto industry. Same for the very technologies that are using right at this very moment to read this. Investment in new technologies is and has always been a fundamental funciton of government. Again, how do you not know this?

The idea that Biden has raised the debt more than Trump is just something that you pulled out of your ass and the opposite of reality. Trump ran up the national debt more than any president ever, and this was true even before Covid. The guy could not stop spending while at the same time cut revenues by giving away trillions in tax cuts to the top few percent. This is not the case for Biden.

Honestly, you run form thread to thread repeating the same lies over and over. On each thread, people always blow you out of the water with facts. I have to ask, are you just a fundamentally dishonest person, are you a masochist and get off being made a fool, or do you genuinely have advanced dementia and don't remember that you keep getting proven wrong?

If massive deficit spending directly causes inflation, why was inflation less under Trump when he was blowing the doors off Biden in terms of deficit spending? I mean, Trump dialed up the national debt orders of magnitude more than any other president, so by your theory, inflation under him would have been galactic.

Oh, and please detail for us Biden's attack on the American energy industry. I will remind you that he's opened more drilling than Trump.

“WTF does the Republican party know about reality?

I've been reading your bullshit with amusement, knowing that eventually you'd start repeating comments from the idiots at CNN, MSNBC and the AP.
You're probably going to tell us that biden's Inflation Reduction Act is actually reducing inflation, in spite of the fact the CBO has said nothing in the act will impact today's inflation.

As far as all those so called jobs biden created, they weren't knew jobs you idiot. They were jobs that were lost during the pandemic and the close down.

You claim that presidents don't have the power to affect the economy, yet you refuse point all the positions presidents get to fill. Look at the border czar Mayorkas, appointed by biden his leadership has completely failed the US. Record numbers of illegal aliens have crossed into the US, over 100 terrorist have been captured trying to get into the US, illegal aliens coming from third world countries carrying with them diseases we haven't seen in the US for years.

Oh yeah, and who's footing the bill for this invasion? Who develops the budget and approves it? Well we know it was the democrats since that dumb fuck biden got into office.

All the bullshit your spouting sounds good on paper, but look at the border, look at the cost of a gallon of gas, FUCK look at the cost of eggs and food.

I don't know where the fuck you lived when President Trump was in the White House, but I was living in the US paying less than $2 for a gallon of gas, buying food for 40% less than today and a Happy Meal, Big Mac and Quarter pounder didn't fucking cost me $21!

Take your bullshit and shove it up your ass, anyone who's ever kept an eye on politics knows that it's the president who sets the direction the country is going and biden who fucked up the Afghanistan withdrawal, who puts NO FEAR into Putin, Xi, little rocket man and Iran, who set the record for most illegal aliens released into the country is responsible for where we're at today.

Biden shut down drilling. Biden has made America energy dependent. Biden went to OPEC+ on his hands and knees, kissing the ring of the Saudi murderer, begging for more oil. They laughed at him. Trump made America energy independent.

Chips bill producing fruit? Just like Solyndra.
If our government has made so many great investments, why is it over $31 Trillion dollars in debt?
Biden has run up the debt faster than any president ever. Trump tax cuts narrowed the wealth gap. Biden has expanded the wealth gap.
All of these facts are easily provable. You're either too lazy to do any research or you're a chinese bot.
