The joys of a family business. My dad and my uncle own a fast food / retail joint. My father is the majority owner. They each ran their own location till my uncle went bankrupt and we had to sell his location to help bail him out. Now we have one.

All of my uncle's "regular" / "friends" customers started coming to the remaining location. They all have this huge entitlement / asshole quality about them. I guess they got treated like royalty and didn't pay. They thought they could do whatever they wanted if they dropped my uncle's name. My uncle has always been a push over and he can't stand up to adult makes. People take advantage of him. Tons of people owe him money.

This one guy who is my uncle's shop regular is just a fucking asshole. He's loud, obnoxious, has a huge ego, and acts like everyone, except my uncle, is beneath him. Hes a big dude and he's always in your face with too much eye contact. He's always got something obnoxious or cocky to say to you. He's always waiting for a minor mistake or problem to make a issue about. He's kind of a bully. He never does it in earshot of my dad or uncle. With all the "issues" he's had he's never mentioned a word to my dad or my uncle. I really don't like the guy but I bite my tongue. I'm not afraid of him.

He was in a few months ago and I guess an employee made a very minor mistake, or he thought they did, and he went on and on about it. Rather than just simply asking something to be corrected he's going on and on. I saw him from across the store and I observed his body language and the staff members body language. When he kept talking and talking animatedly for more than a minute I realized there was a huge issue and walked over. He saw me and explained the "issue." I guess I looked at him speachless with a "wtf?" face after realizing it was over literally nothing. He kinda realized he was being a jerk so he made some thing up and then exaggerated the situation. I knew this was bullshit and said "really? Yeah that's not correct." He glared at me, guess he was trying to scare me and I laughed at him. He stormed out.

Guy hasn't returned but his whole family has come in. Good riddance. If he does come back I know he's gonna have some stupid crazy nonsense excuse.
